The time hasn't come yet...

Miss-P-vogue had succesfully came on Saturday, 27th of February 2010. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un....

I was so sad during the situation. Thank you hB for your warmth hug, bundle of love and kisses, pureness of jokes and kindness of advise to relief my sadness. You are always my best companion ever in this world, and I'm relying on you to make our dream to have own children come true. InsyaAllah...

Well, nothing much to say, we are just waiting for our next appointment on Mar 10. I'm sure there will be some post-mortem of the treatment failure besides next treatment to be undergone.

♥♥ I need a new hairdo!

First thing: See ticker above: Day 29 of 29 cycle.A home test may work today!
Alahai...sy terlampau takut dan membiarkan saje hari ini berlalu disamping berdoa cepatla mase berlalu...takmau pikir sgt :(

Okay...back to subject - I need a new hairdo! This idea popped-out when hB suprisingly hug me from the back n suprisingly say "Eii...rambut busuk!!" Haha - padanla muke, kan sy br abes masak time tu, of cozla berpeluh semacam. With very-the-hot weather like now, I seriously cannot stand for long hair. Actually I straighten my hair last August before Eid - rambut Raya la konon!hihi! - then I cut it straight just below my ear level!haha - merugikan je pegi straighten yg berjam2 tuh!

So now when my Barbie Doll cut had passed below shoulder, I seriously demand for a shorter and nicer cutting.

Mee Bandung Asli Muar


Resipi ini di-google setelah ayah (FIL) sy meminta sy memasakkan Mi Bandung Muar, yg rasanya amat berlainan dpd Mi Bandung yg disajikan di Kedah. Resipi ini adelah hasil cantuman dpd segala resepi yg ada, selain dpd pengamatan sy sendiri (Almaklumla, aku kan org Johor).

Bahan2:-
=======
Mee kuning - 1 bungkus
Daging lembu segar - 1/3 kilo (Direbus hingga empuk bersama garam & halia, stoknya disimpan)
Udang kering - 1/2 cawan
Bawang merah - 3 ulas
Bawang putih - 5 ulas
Cili kering - 10 batang
Sotong, udang, fishball & fishcake - mengikut citarasa
Sayur sawi - 5 batang dipotong 1 inci
Serbuk kacang tanah - 150g
Garam & Gula
Minyak utk menumis

Cara2:-
======
  1. Udang kering dibersihkan dan direbus bersama 1 cawan air selama 5-10minit.
  2. Kisar cili kering, bawang merah, bawang putih, udang kering dan air rebusannya.
  3. Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan kisar tersebut dgn api sederhana hingga pecah minyak.
  4. Masukkan pula serbuk kacang tanah, seafood, batang sawi & fishball/fishcake. Kacau hingga sebati.
  5. Masukkan stok rebusan daging dan tunggu hingga mendidih dan kuah likat. Perasakan dengan gula dan garam. Akhir sekali masukkan daun sawi.
Tips: Utk menambah kesedapan, Mee Bandung Muar ini harus dihidang utk seorang2. Caranya, asingkan kuah utk seorang dan tambah telur, bila telur masak masukkan mee dan kacau sebati. Dengan cara ini, kuah menjadi lebih pekat da kawww...

Hiasan:-

Mee yg sudah siap bole dihidang bersama daging rebus, tauhu goreng dan cili  yg dihiris nipis2, daun bawang dan daun saderi.

Hwangyong-Hamnida!!: Seoul Garden...

Annyong Hashimnigga! (means Hello in Korean language).



This restaurant was introduced by Syifa Redz. Penang got 2 Seoul Garden - 1 in Juru Autocity & 1 in Gurney Plaza - this time me n a good friend of mine go makan2 at Juru Autocity. Arrived there at about 12.15pm with empty-stomach-and-starving-for-food but being told that they only start 15 minutes later. Adeh! So we just sit down there waiting for them to set-up the table.

The concept here is buffet, so just eat it till u drop!hehe. Food can be cook in 2 ways - Steamboat or Grilled. The price is as per below:


For drink, free-flow only cost RM3.88++ (can drink till bloated!haha)

Wide range of menu are as per following:


For soup, u can choose up to 4-5 selection - Ginseng soup (yekk!), tomyam, kimchi (this is real Korean taste) & yang lain tak ingat name ape (hehe). So we choose tomyam soup and drink Green Tea. For first-grilled-action, its quite annoying coz the oil splashed out to our baju (Tips: dont wear white clothes, jacket, scarf or wutever...). But after 2-3 times no splashed oil anymore so that we can concentrate on eating...yeay~~!!!

The food I can tell u...Soooo tempting! Urgghhh~~!!!Yummmy~~!!!


Varities of so-called yong-tau-foo. Got fish ball/cake, ciken, sausage, tofu, meat, seafood, something like sushi, dragon ball (eh?), etc2.


Chicken, meat n squid!! All are marinated, got so many flavors there - black pepper, szechuan, spicy but the most unbelieveable one - Coffee Chicken - smells good and have quite sweet taste.


Own-made leng-chee-kang! Sgt besh!! But mine taste salted...Haha. Silap resepi da~!!


Free-flow drink. Drink till u bloated.


Ice-cream~~~!!!Craving! No need to say more...




This is the steamboat-pot & grill-pan. Enough for 4-5 people. See the varities of sauce on the left? Good! They have special-seoul-garden-sauce, thai sauce, red pepper sauce, cili potong with kicap, chilli/tomato ketchup, chopped garlic n dried-chilli-powder.


 


My finished-til-u-cant-see icecream on right and salted leng-ckee-kang on left.

Got another part served mee -yee mee,bihun, etc - & its accessories - mushrooms, lotus seeds, etc. Since I'm not really interested into it, just skip it then...hehe.
So far, I'm really satisfied eating here. Food was so great, so do the waiters' service. However, few cons may take place:

  1. Oil splashed for first time griiling action. Euuwww~~!! 

  2. They use plastic/melamine plates/bowl. Feels like kids though. (Maybe coz so many broken plates kot) - no harm, its acceptable.

  3. Table located too close to another. Kinda annoying especially when table beside got more than 5 people, kinda chaos. See pix below:



Overall Conclusion: Must go there again! and again! ::Thumbs up::



Percutian ke Cameron yg mendamaikan....

Me n hB went to Cameron on 11-13th February 10, basically to have some good rest and enjoying our goodself of the cold in the Highland there. Departed on 10am and enjoying our un-busy road traffic coz it's still Thursday, ppl will only go balik kampung on Friday to celebrate CNY eve, yet we have to drive slowly (x larat byr speed trap daaa...)

CH is accessible by 3 main route - Simpang Pulai & Tapah, Perak or Gua Musang, Kelantan (so far I only know this route, care to share if u guys have another). From Kedah-Simpang Pulai, it takes about +-2 hrs and about 1-1.5hrs to reach at the peak. So far, not so many vehicles passed by and we're really enjoying the beauty nature besides native neighbourhood along the road. (They also sell petai n rebung along the road!soo cute...).

Directions by road - from the south:

To drive up Cameron Highlands from the south, take the North-South Expressway and head up north.

You will pass the following towns along the North-South Expressway: Rawang - Tanjung Malim - Slim River - Sungkai - Bikam - Bidor - Tapah - Gopeng - Simpang Pulai.

There are two roads leading up to Cameron Highlands. One is the old road from Tapah town and another from Simpang Pulai, which is the new route.

Tapah Exit - Exit the Tapah Interchange (Exit 132) on the North-South Expressway after passing Bidor town. At the traffic lights right after the toll booth, turn left and follow the road all the way up to Cameron Highlands. There are some narrow and sharp turns that you have to be careful of if you are taking this route from Tapah. Heavy vehicles going up and down this road, so be careful when overtaking. There is mobile phone coverage for most the way up Cameron Highlands and you will find interesting stalls along the road where the Orang Asli display their handicraft and forest products for sale.

Simpang Pulai Exit - From the North-South Expressway, exit at the Simpang Pulai interchange (Exit 137). Turn right and follow the road signs up Cameron Highlands. You will pass by Kampung Raja, Kuala Terla, Tringkap and Brinchang before reaching Tanah Rata.The new route from Simpang Pulai is less winding and the road is wider. There is no mobile phone coverage along this new route up Cameron Highlands. However, the driving time is shorter compared to the route from Tapah even though the distance is further.

Directions by road - from the north:

If you are coming from the states up north of Peninsula Malaysia, head down south towards Kuala Lumpur via the North-South Expressway.

Exit the Simpang Pulai interchange (Exit 137). Turn right and follow the road signs up Cameron Highlands. You will pass by Kampung Raja, Kuala Terla, Tringkap and Brinchang before reaching Tanah Rata.

Check-in at about 2pm at Country Lodge Hotel, a not-so-called-budget-hotel,cosy n very comfortable hotel at Brinchang. I paid the room already so we just pick the key and go straight to room, and have a good rest (tidola,pe lagik!hehe)

We go Jalan2 Cari Makan @ Tanah Rata (TR) as we're starving for food at the evening. FYI, TR is only about 1.8km from Brinchang if you drive thru Kg Taman Sedia, compared to 5km on usual road. So, nk jimat petrol n nak cepat, it's better to use this road. ::victory::

- ade food court (makanan bole tahan, Gerai no 1 is recommended) kat blakang taxi station, opposite to Guardian pharmacy.
- ada 1 supermarket (x ignat name pe...something like Jimat kot??). Kalau nk beli groceries, toilettries or whutever bolela singgah kat sini. Interesting pada aku sbb dorang pack 3-in-1 milo,nescafe,ali cafe,boh n wutever kecik2 (4-5 in pax), so amat sesuaila utk we all yg travel ni, x payah beli yg besar tu...
- ade banyak jugak hotel kat tgh2 Brinchang nih from budget to medium line, cam Jasmine Hotel,Rosa Pasadena & wutever wutever...tp yg ttp best is Country Lodge!hehe...very recommended!!!Yieeha~~!!
- Night market (on Friday - Sunday) - owh, this one is soooo tempting...ade beraneka jualan dpd segala souveniers (fridge magnet,pencil,cap,mafela,key-chain,snow cap, slippers,umbrella,bantal - yg segalanya berbentuk strawberry (trademark)) to strawberry products (jam,syrup, dried fruits n even strawberry chocolate (my fav!)) , clothing, veggies (potato n keturunannya, the famous Jagung Cameron n sooo many fresh veggies) and last but not least, of course the FooD!! That day kami makan Nasi Kukus n Ayam Berempah served with sambal belacan n kari ayam...owh,Melt ;P




Tanah Rata:
========
- byk tempat makan - for breakfast try Roti Canai @ Zainab Sam, located at TR food court (hjg skali belah kanan) - sgt sedap occay! Then utk western food bole try Restoran Buluh Perindu, located sderet ngan Agrobank tingkat atas (ade steamboat tp agak mahal). Kalau nak mkn steamboat try Emida Restoran, kat TR food court tingkat atas (open 6pm-12am daily).
- kat depan sket food-sie ni ade gak tempat jual2 souviner. n ada tmpat utk dinner gak - Fauzi Tomyam, gerai jagung n Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah.

- since hB left his jacket (purposely kan dear???hehehe), so he bought a Quicksilver sweater here (cap ayam pon layan jelah). And he bought me a Pashmina..Great!hehe

- x cukup duet?? Bank/ATM ada disini. So far I noted ada Maybank, AgroBank n blablabla... (x ingat). ade jgk fast food - Marrybrown & Starbucks (tp org x layan ni kat CH weh...heheh)
- Cameron Valley tea shop sgt best occay! Located kat TR, tp atas sket lebih kurang 10-15min menuruni n mendaki bukit disamping jalan berliku. Got 2 tea shops here, but I prefer the 2nd one (kalau dr TR town). Amat mendamaikan kalau dpt makan strawberry cheesecake n secawan hot-tea. N kalau nak trn bawah kat tea plantation pon bole -subject to kaki korang kuat n bertenaga la, sbb very the curam n jauh ok - (but pls pls pls jgn pluck the tea-leaves ok!kesian dorg tau...tu la rezeki dorang...)




Kea Farm:-
========
- Shopping heaven - tempat yg paling masyuk n murah menjual segala2 produk CH! Open daily day-to-night.

-Segala vegetables, strawberries, potatoes (ubi madu best!), corn, mushrooms - semua ada n dijual pada harga yg amat berpatutan. Kalau sayur tu byk yg dorang pack kecik2 n jual 16 packet for RM10. Berbaloi-baloi! Ada juga yg jarang dijumpai di luar CH spt kimchan, asparagus (kat sini mahal weh!), etc.

-Flowers, esp roses and daisies are cheaply sold. Kaler ape seme ade - pink, peach, lavender, blue, yellow - u name it! hB bought me a bouquet of flower (tp 3 kuntum jela since aku mmg x suka bunga...haha)



(cuaca sejuk telah mencantikkan kulit sy!hehe)

- Tak minat bunga? Jgn risau,pokok pon ade jual...Chillies -ade kaler ungu,putih,hijau n merah, pokok landscape (tak tau ape name die), pokok halau nyamuk (nice!tp smelly sikit), n sooo many more. So, sape2 yg suke gardening tuh, this is the best place. Harga? Around RM4-12 bergantung kpd size and rupa.

- Harga barangan disini juga bole ditawar! Menarik! (Saya telah berjaya membeli strawberry pack besar RM20 utk 5 pek / berbanding 4 pack utk harga tersebut).


Butterfly Farm:-
===========
- Located at Jalan Kea Farm, Butterfly Farm is located about 5km from Brinchang. Entrance Fee is RM5 per adult. It served u beautiful varities of butterfly (and also ulat kepompong!Nice!). Open daily 8am to 5pm. Other than butterfly, they also have some exotic insects/mammalias/reptiles/amfibias i.e. Toad, Lizard & iguana families, snakes, scorpions, and many more to say. Hurm...so enchanting!





Other interesting places:-
==================
- Actually ade byk lg tempat2 menarik utk dilawati i.e. Time Tunnel gallery, Rose Farm, Cactus Point, Sg Palas Tea Plantation (Boh), mossy rainforest, etc. Since kami dtg utk berehat, kami skip hectic travelling nih!hehe. Cuaca pd waktu siang agak panas (wpon x sepanas sini) dan malam amat sejuk dan mendamaikan...Uhhh...Sy amat merindui detik itu...

Can't wait for our next vacation...Singapore!Here we come~~!!!!

Black Pepper Grilled Chicken with Wedges n Asparagus

Oleh kerana cuti CNY yg panjang, maka secara tidak rasminya sy telah menjadi seorang surirumah sepenuh masa. Menu utk lunch hari ini adelah spt tajuk di atas:-



Bahan2:-
======
Utk diperap selama 2-3jam:

Ayam yg telah dibersihkan (sy memilih bahagian peha dan kepak)
Bawang putih - 3 ulas (dicincang halus)
Halia - 1 cm (juga dicincang halus)
Sos cili - 2 sudu besar
Sos tomato - 1 sudu besar
Sos tiram - 1 sudu besar
Sos Lea & Perinns - 1 sudu besar
Kicap manis & masin - 1 sudu besar setiap satu
Gula & garam - sesedap rasa

Utk sos lada hitam (simple):-

Sos lada hitam - 5 sudu besar
Sos tiram - 1 sudu besar
Cendawan butang - 2 biji dihiris nipis2
Bawang merah - 1 ulas dipotong dadu
Air - 1/2 cawan
Gula & Garam seseap rasa

Cara2:-
======
(1) Perap ayam selama 2-3 jam (semalaman pon xpe utk kesan maksimum). Cucuk2 ayam dgn garfu supaya marinated sauce meresap dlm ayam.
(2) Letakkan ayam dlm aluminium foil dan bakar ayam pd suhu 170°C selama lebih kurang 45minit.
(3) Utk sos - masukkan semua bahan dan kacau atas api hingga likat.
(4) Sediakan ayam utk dihidang, curah sos di atas ayam dan hidangkan bersama wedges (fried) and asparagus (boiled) atau apa jua sidelines kegemaran puan2.

Cucuq Jagung Meletooop


As we just go back from Cameron and borong byk jagung cameron, the idea of doing this cucur (or pronouncely as Cucuq here) is great. I found this recipe @ MyResipi and change a bit as per my own.

Bahan2:
---------
Jagung - 1 cawan
Tepung gandum - 2 cawan
Air panas - 1 cawan
Cili merah - 1 btg (dicincang halus-halus)
Daun saderi & daun bwg - 2 btg je (dicincang halus gak)
Bawang merah (besar) - 1/2 biji dipotong dadu
Telur - 1 biji
Udang - 1 cwn (lg byk lg masyuk)
Mauripan - 1 sudu teh
Gula & garam - secukup rasa

Cara-cara:
------------
(1) Gaulkan semua bahan (kecuali air) dlm 1 bekas utk membentuk
     adunan.
(2) Last skali br masukkan air pns sedikit demi sedikit (jgn smpi tlebih
     air plak).
     (Tips: Air panas dikatakan dpt melembutkan lg adunan
     berbanding air sejuk)
(3) Perap adunan selama 20minit sbelum digoreng dlm minyak penuh
     dgn api sederhana kuat. Angkat bila warna cucur keemasan dan
     hidangkan bersama sos cili/tomato).
     (Tips: cucur akan cpt hangus, jd jgn biar lama atas api n api
     jgn besar gabak sgt)

Anggaran:
-----------
Cukup utk 2 org yg amat lapar sbb tak mkn dinner (atau 3 org utk minum petang).

Gonal-f done, so do Ovidrel 25 mcg

Tonite is D-Day, meet dearest Dr Tan for follow-up after finishing 6 injections of gonal-f 75mg a nite before. Reached at ASC about 8.45pm,and woot! ramai gile org...huih huih... Maybe sbb Obstetrician&Gynaecologist-nite-clinic & Child-Specialist-Clinic (handled by Dr Elango) only served on Monday & Wednesday, so parents + couple dtg serbu there after office hour (tp most couple seme tgh pregnant, hihih)

Waiting about 20minutes with dup..dap..dup...dap (then admin staff tuh suruh p shishi b4 msuk jmpa Dr.). As usual he was smiling happily to see us and ask me to lay down for Vaginal Scan (to check 4 the ovum) and he was like "uhrmm...uhrmmm..."  making me sooo demm curious. I don't understand the image shown on screen (as its only like black image plus some kinda stripes) I thought the situation was like "OMG!I'm not producing any ovum!". Then only he said that me got four-matured-enough-eggs!!! It's not one, neither two nor three, but it's FOoooouuuRRR!!! ALhamdulillah..and me can see 2 eggs at my right and and the other 2 on left side (but smaller compared to right eggs). This proving that I'm successfully reacted to Clomid & Gonal-f. And believe me, I was imagining of babies there, not the eggs (haha!too far berangan-mat-jenin huh)

Then he asked us to considering seriously to continue the treatment or stop it there, coz I may conceive with all that four eggs - making a total of 4 babies for simpler understanding.. Me n hB were seeing each other faces silently and our mind saying, "OMG!OMG!What to do??" Few minutes later only we found the solution to continue the treatment....

Then he gave me Ovidrel 25mcg injection, purposely used in fertility treatment cycles to help follicles mature and trigger the release of mature eggs from my ovari. Then we were being told to have S3x 24hrs after the injection..If I do not get my Miss-P-vogue on the next 14 days, meaning that I already conceived, and vice-versa.

So I think, enough for today, I need to pack my things, coz tomorrow hB is taking me to Cameron Highland~~Yeay~~!!!! Se you soon!

Ketam Masak Kuali

Today is Saturday...no idea what to cook for lunch as usual ;-) so I'm just going directly to Pasar and do some random survey (cheh~!) and tibe2 ternampak KeTaM~~!!!

Then teringat masakan bunda "Ketam Masak Kuali" (no idea why the name like dis).

Masa penyediaan: 30 minit

Bahan2 nya (anggaran 2 org mkn):-
-----------------------------------------
Ketam 3 ekor
Timun saiz kecil 1 btg (dipotong panjang sbg hiasan penyejuk mata & perut)
Cili merah besar 1 biji (utk hiasan juga)
Asam gelugor 2 keping
Cili boh 1 sudu besar (kalau nak lg pedas bohla byk sket)
Santan pekat 1 cawan
Air 2 cawan
Garam / Gula (sbb aku x pki ajinomoto)
Bhn utk ditumbuk:  Bawang merah 2 ulas
                             Bawang putih 2 ulas
                             Belacan 1 cm
                             Kunyit 1 cm
                             Halia 2cm

Cara2:-
----------
1) Bersihkan ketam dan ketepikan

         


















2) Dlm 1 periuk masukkan santan, air, cili boh, asam gelugor & bahan2 yg ditumbuk, then masak atas api yg sederhana, kacau selalu spy tak pecah santan















3) bila da agak2 mendidih perasakan dgn garam/gula, then masukkan ketam















4) bila ketam da hampir msk (kaler bertukar spenuhnya kpd merah) masukkan timun dan cili merah.
5) Didihkan hingga timun/cili layu dan tada~~~!!! Siap utk dihidang,
